When I asked corporate about how to better ensure we get a sale we handed out samples for, they gave me the following tips. It's always a good idea to remind clients to double check they have your name correct in the shopping cart when they order because if they have visited another shopping cart before, a cookie may have been added to their browser that would direct them back to that first cart they went to, and they might not notice that they have the wrong ISA shopping cart.
We suggest stapling a business card to them. Every week we receive calls or e-mails from someone that received a sample, but no business card. Maybe the card was lost or separated when it was handed out. So, we suggest printing small labels with name, phone #, and ISA Code and placing them on the samples before giving them out. A quick little note on the label could say,
Please order from my shopping cart
at: BlackBoxCosmetics.com
ISA Sales Code: SS1649
Ph. #: 000-000-0000
or
Please call me to place an order:
Your Name
ISA Sales Code: SS1649
Ph. #: 000-000-0000
The second label would allow the ISA to explain how to place the order and have the customer check the name in the top left corner to make sure the customer is in the right shopping cart. If not, they could have the customer clear their cache and then enter the right ISA Code.
